AP Biology Labs
 Evolution
This lab is based on a game invented by G. Ledyard Stebbins, a pioneer in the evolution of plants. The purpose of the game is to illustrate the basic principles and some of the general effects of evolution by natural selection. The students take turns acting as predators of butterflies camouflaged on various patterned cloth backgrounds. The change in number of color variants is measured from generation to generation. Fun. Simple. Instructive.
